Absofacto – Dissolve

There’s something about today, I really can’t put my finger on it but it feels as if I slept in my Hyundai Elantra 2008 over at the bay pier last night. That wouldn’t make much sense though as it was below 20 degrees Fahrenheit last night as we are currently in the deep Winter mix of December at the moment. What does make sense is the absolute gem of a track “Dissolve” by Absofacto. This track has provided so much warmth since it’s initial release back in 2015, I figured it was about time to write about it.

Known elusively as Jonathan Visger, the talented musician started sparking up his career down over in Michigan, to soon then take over the indie rock scene in early 2008. “Dissolve” happened to be one of his stand along singles just like “History Books” another great work of his I’d recommend. Absofacto is highly intuitive as he combines bed room pop, electronic music and art rock to create fluid works of musical art that never fail to impress.
