Two of my current favorite artists Allen Mock & Chow Chow just released an absolute thriller of a track titled “Phantom” and it’s so terrifyingly delightful it will send chills up and down your spine a thousand times over. The style “Phantom” brings to the table is one I have been classifying lately as Wook. I didn’t create the classification because it’s a style only wooks would listen to but rather because the sounds used within are very left field. The sound style and patterns within Wook will make you feel not like your usual self but you will certainly enjoy what has become of thy self if the particular track under the style is fire. This particular bad boy produced by Tokyo’s finest is also said to be classified as bass and trap. Regardless of what style you feel it is, one thing’s for sure is that “Phantom” will bring Halloween to your doorstep earlier than expected. This beauty of a piece will make you feel like you scored all the full size candy bars in your entire district with a few dozen bags of sour patch kids thrown into the mix.

I keep telling my fellow music enthusiasts that Allen Mock & Chow Chow are artists that you must constantly pay attention to as they are churning out productions that are so unique, other worldly, soul piercing and delightfully perplexing. “Phantom” is yet another brilliant track of theirs that you must download wither you are using it for your own personal mixes/sets or maybe because you are developing a gnarly Halloween playlist for your big rager on the 31st and you want to blow the doors off of all of your guests. We are sure you have already heard the track else where as it came out mid October and it has been all over the place ever since, but if you found it here I couldn’t be more glad that you finally have been able to give the beastly track a listen. Tune in any time to the Affinity Ascension network for more electric tracks like “Phantom”; they have been rolling in like hot cakes lately so keep your ear to the ground. As always, cheers :)
