Calivania - DOOM (Memba Remix)

Today has been such an absolutely wild day so far. As many of you already know I live on Fire Island in the state of NY so the only way to get groceries during the summer is by boating from here to the mainland (Long Island). Therefore it is essential to have a boat, which we moor down the block in our bay. Once we boat off we hop in the whip to head to Costco so as to get as much bulk as possible for a months time, then repeat the process just in reverse after we finish at Costco. Since there was so much going on today I was doing some of the Submit Hub approvals during the commute. I had Memba’s remix of Calivania’s original “DOOM” on the speaker in the boat and it was fucking cranking to say the least. It was going so hard and a few lines came to mind for what to write about the banger in the blog post today. I put my head down to write as I knew my boi had the wheel of the boat and our line of direction had no turns for about a few nautical miles. I’m not sure what happened as I was writing looking down, but my boi Glenn said a gull came ducking in on us so he therefore had to make an impromptu skirt swerve. I swear he was just tryna get me back for a prank I pulled on him last week haha. Anyway, “DOOM” is absolutely slamming away on the boat speaker, it was filling it out so nicely as the mix master was done superbly, so I’m super in the zone at this point. When the swerve on the boat happened I end up completely catapulting out of the boat like Super Man. All the while this jam is absolutely crushing it phat on the boat system. I just remember locking Glenn in the eyes as I’m flying out of the boat while “DOOM” is going off and I felt like I was in a scene straight out of some action movie. This remix by Memba is now forever going to be in my head due to what transpired today. And to be honest I am completely fine with that because the remix hits home in all the right places; the beat kicks, the vocals rip and the drop is heavy. I’m for sure throwing this piece in a multitude of workout/gym/rave playlists. Looking forward to messing some people up with it.
