We’re live with you guys today here at Affinity Ascension and what a day it is to sauce it up just a little for the boys and girls back West. Honestly why not just sauce it up a little more for the aunties and uncles back East. We may as well keep it simmering across the board at this point then. Because when we have Harry Nathan in the mix with us everything is right where it should be. The Australian producer, singer, songwriter and DJ just released to the world some absolute primo with no hidden fees this past month, it’s a track they named “Harriet Tubman?” featuring you. It’s so completely finessed that it’s going to send you straight to groove town and you’re not going to know how you wound up there, but you won’t ever want to leave.

The jazzy style behind “Harriet Tubman?” fills the heart with heat and it never leaves, that’s what makes this track such an utter banger. A favorite component of mine held within this track is the vocal element; very creatively they sampled, what it sounds to be, the boys up in the hub ready to bust out an artist interview at their radio station. I’m so stoked that Harry Nathan took the production in this direction. Especially since the host of the radio station has such chill vibes! The guy didn’t even know they were currently on air during the initial recording, this had me reactive for sure. Then we got the bro in the back who went “who was?”, then in response from the host we hear “Harriet Tubman” haha. Honestly you can just tell the vibes in that station are so completely chilled up and it’s clear to see on a listener standpoint. This vocal aspect of the track blends so nicely with the grooviness of the entire production. Just can’t get over how well the casual chatter fits within the piece and how the chillness of the tone compliments the rest of the track. It’s complete genius.
