Linkin Park – Shadow Of The Day (Echos Cover)

During the period after an artist has passed away, remixes and covers always come in flocks whether it’s to pay tribute to the original artist or to ride the publicity wave. Generally, I am always a little hesitant listening to a cover or remake of such a classic piece, but this incredibly powerful and emotional take on a long time favorite certainly caught the eye and ears.

Echos put a powerful spin on a classic I’ve loved since its initial release. Give this song a listen through to the finish, as it was certainly the most moving part for us. Linkin Park has had a profound effect on the way Echos craft their music and I think this cover did the original justice. At the end of the day it’s a track worth letting speak for itself with the recommended listening spot being somewhere scenic. BRB while we get our plane tickets…
