New Navy – Zimbabwe (Flume Remix)

I just recently rediscovered Flume’s take on “Zimbabwe” today by original artist New Navy and it’s one of those tracks that’s able to take us a couple leaps back in time. Flume started generating regard as the pioneer of future bass as he began topping charts as early as 2012 with the style. Along with popularizing the genre, he quickly became known for fashioning ear gleaming remixes from diverse artists such as Lorde, Hermitude and Disclosure.

This classic, ‘super chill’ remix by Flume is a fine example of what the young Australian artists has to offer. The track will truly envelope your senses with waves of rhythm that transport the listener through Flume’s highway, which he describes as a “clear blue skyway.” Truly one for the deep thinker.
