VOLO – Last Nomad

I’m bringing a really cool piece to your ears today. This has to be one of the most unique tracks I have heard in recent time, specifically due to it’s ability to take the listener on a hybrid journey sonically. At times it feels almost tribal in nature, and at other times eastern.

Two minutes in is where it continues to transform and introduces an almost fierce component that’s mixed with vocal work reminiscent of an ODESZA track along with majestic pads. By the end, it really gives off the feeling I’ve accomplished an amazing feat, such as having climbed a vast valley to then be standing mountain top looking at the beautiful world below.
